A complete modular tradeshow build using the T3 system — demonstrating how large-scale tradeshow infrastructure can be engineered to be sustainable, reusable and visually premium.
In 2025, T3 Systems delivered the full modular tradeshow build for Recon Event Consulting at the Icelandair Mid-Atlantic Travel Trade Show in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The brief: design and install a fully modular, double-sided illuminated tradeshow system — built without tools, reusable for future editions, and scalable for long-term deployment including the confirmed 2027 event.
The Icelandair Mid-Atlantic Travel Trade Show brings together global airlines, destination marketing organisations, tour operators and hospitality brands from across Europe and North America. Recon Event Consulting needed a tradeshow system that could serve multiple exhibitors across a large floor — fast to build, visually consistent, and designed for long-term reuse.
We delivered the entire project using the T3 modular framing system combined with our custom lightbox profile to create premium double-sided illuminated booths. Simple T3 dividing walls with double joiners provided clean separation between exhibitors while maintaining an open, welcoming layout across the floor.
The double-sided illuminated lightbox approach delivered 360° brand visibility for every exhibitor — maximum graphic brightness with a clean, frameless premium finish throughout.
The entire installation was built using T3’s Twist & Lock system — no tools, no specialist contractors. Pre-engineered modular components and quick-lock assembly dramatically reduced installation time and labour, making this one of the most efficient large-scale tradeshow builds of its kind.
Custom 3D logos and CNC-cut polystyrene brand elements from the T3D Letters & Logos range were integrated throughout the environment — adding depth and dimension beyond the illuminated lightboxes and improving wayfinding across the tradeshow floor.
Rather than building temporary structures discarded after the event, the entire system was designed for full reusability — dismantled, stored, and re-deployed for Icelandair Mid-Atlantic 2027. Long lifecycle aluminium profiles, replaceable fabric graphics and flat-packed logistics significantly reduce environmental impact. Read more about T3’s sustainable exhibition approach.
Delivered in Reykjavik under demanding event timelines, the system performed exactly as engineered — a cohesive, visually striking exhibition environment built entirely from modular components. The client was extremely happy with both the finished stand and the overall delivery.
Following the success of the 2025 build, T3 Systems has secured the contract for Icelandair Mid-Atlantic 2027. The modular nature of the T3 illuminated system allows the structure to be reconfigured, refreshed and expanded without replacing core components — protecting long-term investment while reducing waste across event cycles.
