Modular Exhibition Stand for Meet in Reykjavik at IBTM World

At IBTM World in Barcelona, Meet in Reykjavik set out to make a bold impression on the global meetings and events community. Tasked with presenting Iceland as a world-class conference destination, they partnered with Recon and T3 Systems to develop a high-impact modular exhibition stand that combined architectural elegance, functionality, and sustainability.

Project Scope: Form and Function in Harmony

The goal was to deliver a visually stunning stand with seamless branding, integrated technology, and storage functionality—all within a lightweight, modular format. A key challenge was creating sweeping, curved elements that would elevate the design and distinguish it from traditional square exhibition booths.

Using T3 Frame with Fusion and Channel profiles, the team created a series of large-scale curves that were not only structurally sound but also visually arresting. These components would have been extremely difficult to produce with non-modular materials.

Seamless Graphics, Immersive Lighting, and AV Integration

Key display elements included:

• Single-panel UV backlit fabric graphics on both sides, ensuring uninterrupted visuals
• Wandlite LED lighting to deliver even, immersive illumination
• Two integrated monitors supported with T3 brackets for continuous video content
• A custom modular door, enabling staff access to hidden storage without disrupting the clean lines of the design

Fast, Flexible Build with Long-Term Reuse

The structure was built using the T3 Twist & Lock system, allowing the entire stand to be assembled quickly without tools. This significantly reduced on-site labour costs and made the system ideal for international use.

Packed into compact cases, the stand is fully reusable and can be reconfigured for future events—ensuring long-term ROI and reducing waste.
