Modular Exhibition at the National Library of China

For a prestigious cultural showcase at the National Library of China in Beijing, over 100 historic documents were exhibited to narrate the story of Macao under the Qing Dynasty—an important chapter for both Chinese and Portuguese heritage. The challenge: create a display that respected the historical materials while offering clean presentation and intuitive visitor flow.

Unlimited Events partnered with T3 Systems to deliver a flexible, modular solution that met strict curatorial, aesthetic, and logistical requirements.

The T3 Solution: Clean, Flexible, and Sustainable

The project featured seven custom-designed structures:

• Four T3 Lightboxes (1m x 2.5m to 4.5m x 2.5m)
  Wall-mounted and freestanding formats strategically positioned for optimal impact and navigation.

• Three large T3 Frame units (up to 11m wide)
  Used to present SEG fabric graphics with seamless visuals. Constructed with Silverlite and Silverlite 45° profiles for sleek edges and tailored angles.

Thanks to T3’s Twist & Lock system, the structures were installed rapidly by a small team—ideal for a sensitive, high-profile venue. Graphics were aligned and mounted in just half a day, minimising disruption.

Designed for Reuse and Adaptability

Lightweight, modular, and completely tool-free, the T3 structures are built to be reconfigured for future exhibitions or travelling shows. This installation proved how modular systems like T3 can support curators and designers with sustainable, professional-grade exhibition solutions that evolve with content.
