Project Scope
The brief was to design, produce, and install twelve identical custom displays for the Alien movie premiere across multiple U.S. locations. Each display needed to be eye-catching, robust, and logistically efficient for rollout. Olson Visual , a long-time Hollywood partner, handled installation and coordination across the country.
Achieving the Perfect Display
T3 Deco was the framework of choice, selected for its quick-build capabilities and ability to support multiple materials. Each structure was built with custom angles and a tailored SEG profile to accommodate 3mm clear acrylic panels—achieving the glossy, high-tech look that mirrored the sci-fi theme.
Complementing materials like black SEG fabric and printed carpet reinforced the cinematic mood while maintaining structural integrity. The use of full-size Alien models added theatrical impact at each venue.
T3 Solution
This project showcases T3 Deco’s adaptability and design power. By modifying our profiles to accept acrylic panels, we created seamless hybrid displays that were not only visually stunning but practical for rapid deployment. The result: a successful national launch campaign for 20th Century Fox with striking, photo-ready displays that demanded attention.
